Elemental Lightning Specialization
Rank 1: Ligtning Resistance
Universal Trait
The creature gains Lightning Resistance equal to 5 ranks of armour/rank of Elementalism. This can not be penetrated, but is only effective against electrical damage.
Rank 2: Shocking Touch
Lightning Trait
Add an attack with Aura 1, and 3 ranks of Weapon Damage. Both are per rank of Elementalism. The attack ignores metallic armors completely, and ignores armor if the target is touching a large metallic object (Like a non-light metal weapon). The elemental can also reduce the damage from this attack by half, to deal stunning damage instead.
Rank 3: Lightning Reflexes
Universal Trait
The creature is able to react to danger with unnatural speed. The creature ignores all flat-footed and flanking penalties. Furthermore, the creature gains a bonus to DV equal to your Elementalism. It also gains a bonus defense action every round for every point of elementalism. The increase to DV can not surpass the creatures Body.
Lightning Template
Lightning Elementals are pure Energy. They are both more aggressive, and in some ways more fragile than the others. It's very simple for them to lose control and burn themselves out. Lightning elementals combine their energy and their HP pools together. They generally take no damage from other energy sources (including other elemental damage). They take half-damage from most normal attacks, though the wielder of non-insulated melee weapons take damage equal to the elementals Body+size. The elemental is also subject to damage from any grounded conductor (pools of water, buried metal poles, etc.) that it touches directly. Like most elementals, Lightning Elementals are amorphous. They have + 1 Body, and +0 soul, and +1 Mind base. They also have a rank 2 natural weapon, and can spend 5 health/energy to increase their natural weapon by 1 rank for the next 2 rounds.
Lightning Fast
Lightning Trait:
Gain a 2 ranks of 'teleport' that moves along any conductive surface. It takes 5 HP/MP to start the teleport per rank of the teleport used. This costs 10HP /rank if the surface is grounded, in addition to any damage taken for contacting the surface.
Chain Lightning
Lightning Trait
Gain a ranged attack. 3 weapon strength. It's range uses the normal ranged chart, with 1 rank/5 weapon strength (Rounded up). Using this ability costs 10 HP/MP per rank of weapon-strength used. If you take this ability multiple times, the attack can 'bounce' reducing it's damage by one rank per bounce between enemies.
